Aber wer streitet schon mit sexy Demonstrantinnen (aber doch nicht die rechte von beiden ... oder, herr sierra ???).   I couldn't resist pointing out the absurdity of the
analogy "bombing for peace is like ficking for
virginity." Peace and non-peace are a system in
equilibrium. You can go back and forth between them,
and outside factors can influence whether the
equilibrium favors peace or non-peace. Virginity and
non-virginity, on the other hand, represent a clear
case of a non-equilibrium situation. Nothing can
force the relationship toward virginity once a person
is no longer a virgin. Sure, fucking won't regain
your virginity, but neither will anything else! By
comaring peace to virginity, you are implying that
once a region has moved away from peace, it can never
again be peaceful.

If you want to say bombs are not conducive to peace,
fine. But please don't try to enter into a debate
with an absurd and utterly meaningless analogy as your
weapon; it only hurts your case by creating the
appearance that you've not given a bit of thought to
your argument.
