Currently there is the panel about Venture Capital in the Web2.0 business... From my point of view, the problem is very apperent, since with Om Malik, David Hornik and Jeff Clavier we are so US centric. It seems, that there is no innovative and fast moving VC scene in Europe?

Does that mean, that innovative worldwide Web ventures are only possible in the US, i.e. the WestCoast, i.e. Silicon Valley?? I mean skype shows us the contrary - but in the end this situtation is still kind of strange...

I certainly believe that we are just at the beginning, exactly when talking about Europe. I expect the climax in 3-5 years not before...

Some people say we had it all, we had blogs, podcasts, RSS, etc - show me the new, show me the future. But to be honest these things are all not mass market proven and the potential is still huge.
