The Keynote Speech of Ben and Mena Trott from Six Apart, at the Blogtalk2.0 this Tuesday.

At first it was more a marketing pitch than a real keynote with interesting insights. But that's U.S. and that's ok...

In some points I strongly agree, e.g. that weblogs will go mainstream, but maybe not as "weblogs". They will be kind of invisible, but they will be there. Also some talk about the "let's get famous" and the "I want my privacy again" story is true and I think many people made experiences like this (even if it was not in the same dimension).
But I heard one thing, which I think is really wrong. They said:

"Weblogs are not about form, structure and content. Weblogs are all about communication...."

Weblogs are about form, structure and content. That's why so many different things can be done with and by the use of weblogs. Because form, structure and content build the framework for communication processes. So it is true that weblogs are all about communication but not without talking about form, structure and content!
