OK, it's easy to critizise something but this is too much!
I totally believe Loic LeMeur that it took 6 weeks to organize that conference - that explains the many many things not working here. Starting from crappy washing rooms (4 per sex / for 1.000 people!), a non-working WIFI (at least we had to thank Orange various times), to programm changes every 30 minutes a party location said to be one of the best in Paris (I hope, no I know Paris has more to offer!) which was just mediocre - alright the food was good and it seems, that at least Marc Canter is pleased with that...
Well it was great to have Shimon Peres here - he is a charismatic man. But then we had an extremely interesting session about videoblogging and TV with Gabe McIntyre, Anil de Mello and Cyrill. Anil was about 2min on the floor telling us about his +3,5 Million Users per month! Some + 185.000 Downloads per day! and his ideas about the future of the medium - and the comes Loic and cuts the session because some french presidential candidate enters the floor....
Alright this starts to be a political show?? What? And this guy starts to talk in french - this is said to be an international conference with an international audience and we get to see some french politician talking french to us? What is this - we live in Europe in the year 2006 and I give a damn about national political shows... Did I pay for that? I didn't.
If Loic has any political ambitions, it's OK, but then he sould say that and he should organize a congress for that but he shouldn't abuse the LeWeb3 audience for this.
Protest!
