The german automotive company BMW is very active on Facebook, meanwhile maintaining a Facebook Page with more than 450.000 fans. In December 2009 the question was, how can we say thank you to our fantastic fans out there constantly posting pictures, feedback and showing their appreciation for the brand.

Therefore BMW diceded to show some of the best User generated Content on their Facebook site and put the content of the fans to the center of attention

When clicking the image users found a collage of the best handpicked images out of +6.000 fan images

Users could pick one picture which they likes best and share it with their friends with some seasons greetings.

Furthermore some 1,000 Fans out of the +450,000 Fans worldwide where randomly picked and got a little thank you from BMW, a M Cap - and it seems users liked it a lot:
